Abstract: With the tide of modernization information sweeping around the world, it is urgent to make rational information policy and guide the development of information, and the research of information policy has become an important research field of intelligence science in China. Taking the information policy research literature from CNKI as the data source, this paper used the information visualization software Citespace and Ucinet to conduct co-occurrence analysis and cluster analysis of the subject information keywords of the information policy literature, and made a high-frequency keyword multidimensional scale analysis map, revealing information policy research hotspots and development trends. At present, the research hotspots mainly focused on the comparison of information policies, laws and regulations, information resource management, information security, and e-government service in China, the United States, Japan, and other countries, including four social most important aspects of law, economy, security, political. It should formulate reasonable information policies to reduce the gap with developed countries and establish a sound information policy system.
